CHEDDAR Gorge has announced some changes which will be made to Cox's car park.
A spokesperson from Cheddar Gorge and Caves said: "Starting this Saturday, there will be a car park operative managing Cox’s car park in the gorge at the weekends.
"This is to help ensure that only the permitted number of vehicles are accessing and correctly using the designated car parking spaces. Please also know:
- "We'll be ensuring that the pedestrian access route between the main road and the shops is kept clear of vehicles to allow unrestricted passage by pedestrians, people with pushchairs and those using mobility aids.
- "Motorbikes are welcome in all our car parks if parking in a designated bay and paying at the parking meter (as all other vehicles are required to do).
- "Cox’s car park is not suitable for motorhome parking, please use the coach park just beyond Gough’s Cave to park larger vehicles.
"If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Guest Services at info@cheddargorge.co.uk."
