FORMER Chancellor George Osborne has married his long-term partner Thea Rogers in a Somerset church today (Saturday, July 8).
There were several well-known faces at the ceremony including former Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha, Tory politicians Michael Gove and Sajid Javid, and Labour couple Ed Balls and his wife Yvette Cooper.
The ceremony took place at the 14th century St Mary's Church, in Bruton - near the couple's five-bedroom, Grade II listed home.
The wedding has been overshadowed after police were called in to investigate an email circulated to guests ahead of the big day.
The couple announced their engagement in April 2021 and they welcomed their son Beau three months later.
Their second son, Arthur, was born on December 30 last year.
