SOMERSET Council have announced that they will be removing some benches in Vivary Park in preparation for Taunton Flower Show.
The much-anticipated event will take place in the park on August 4 and August 5.
The show, which is one of the oldest in the country, will show off the talents of the local community. There will also be music, entertainment, and fun for all the family.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the flower show said: "The office staff are powered by coffee and doughnuts this week whilst we make the final preparations for the show!
"Looking forward to seeing all the volunteers, traders, competitors, entertainers, judges and of course all the lovely visitors."
Posting on Twitter, a spokesperson from the council said: "We apologise for any inconvenience and the benches will be put back as soon as possible."
