A CREW from Taunton Fire Station tackled a small fire in the open on the outskirts of Taunton at the weekend.
The team from Blue Watch were molisied to the incident near Bathpool on Saturday (August 5).
A spokesperson for Taunton Fire Station said part time firefighters also took part in the incident, which saw the fire put out promptly.
The spokesperson added: "The officer in charge requested the attendance of the 4x4 Ford Ranger which was crewed by on call firefighters.
"The fire was extinguished using the pump from the Ranger and small tools."
