THE quality of entries in this year's Taunton Flower was once again of the highest standards.

Judges had their work cut out to determine the winners in the various classes.

Several cups were presented to the outstanding contestants, including a number of talented children.

The 'Chelsea of the West' in Vivary Park on Friday and Saturday (August 4 and 5) attracted thousands of visitors as it returned to its home for the second year running following the pandemic restrictions.

Exhibitors and visitors were not put off by the threat of Storm Antoni and managed to still enjoy an attractive programme of entertainment and delightful entries from gifted gardeners.
