AS PART of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a Somerset photographer diagnosed with breast cancer is showcasing an exhibition of photos documenting her life with the disease.
Joanna Wilson, from Taunton, started the Adios Lefty project after her initial diagnosis in 2016.
The project explores the highs and lows Joanna has experienced over the course of her treatment, as well as considering how her cancer has affected those around her.
Joanna's work will be showcased at Bridgwater Arts Centre this month until October 27.
A Bridgwater Arts Centre spokesperson said: "Documentary style black and white images detail day-to-day treatment and consequences while the colour section uses a fine art approach with composite imagery that reflects and considers emotional response to progressing recovery."
She has also produced a book for the Adios Lefty project, which will be on sale at the exhibition - profits will be donated to support a local breast cancer charity.
