NYNEHEAD Court’s annual fundraising Halloween trail took place last week to raise money for the residents’ firework display, Gabriella Whiston reports.
Last week, over five days, local families took part in finding Halloween-themed decorations hidden across the grounds of the 18-acre country estate located near Wellington.
The trail has become an annual tradition and provides families with a free, fun activity during the half-term break.
This year, £335,60 was raised in donations from generous visitors; this money will be used towards funding this month’s fireworks display for the residents.
Home manager Joanne Fenn: “The Halloween Spooky Trail is a regular fixture on the Nynehead Court calendar, which the residents look forward to as much as our visitors, “It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the trail, and hearing their wonderful feedback.
"We would like to thank everyone for attending, and for their generous donations. We will see you again next year.”
