LAST week Boot's Taunton held their annual Beauty Gala in order to raise money for Women's Refuge.
The High Street store turned into a beauty extravaganza for one night only as guests were able to experience all the products and expertise on offer from staff.
The event raised over £2000 for Women’s Refuge. A great effort!
Sandy Blackmore works at the store, she said: "Most of us that work for Boots are women and we are proud that this money will run a refuge for 1 week!
Despite the weather warning 100 people attending on the evening to support. Thanks to the local businesses that donated the evening was a great success.!
Boots has confirmed that it will also be matching £500 toward the money raised.
Sandy added: "This is the first beauty night since covid and we understood that a lot of women and children struggled through the pandemic.
"We are very proud that this money will help people in need."
