FORMER employees of Wellington bedding firm Relyon enjoyed their second annual reunion on Friday afternoon (November 24).
The event, which took place at the Beambridge Inn, was again organised by Jeanette Bird, who retired from the company’s Sewing Room five years ago.
As well as catching up on old times, the guests enjoyed prize bingo, a raffle and buffet while there was also a sale of Christmas items.
Proceeds from the day went to St Margaret’s Hospice and the final tally was nearly £250.
“It was a brilliant afternoon,” said Jeanette afterwards.
“It was lovely to see everyone again and we’re hoping there will be an even bigger gathering next year – the more the merrier.”
