A CAFE on a farm on the Quantock Hills will be brewing its final cuppas and serving its last goodies this weekend.

The Foxy Bean at Adscombe Farm, in Adscombe, near Nether Stowey, is closing its doors for good on Sunday (December 3).

Before then it will be open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (November 29 and December 1 and 2).

A post on Facebook says: "Dear Foxy Beaners. After five and a half years we have decided to close the doors on our little cafe.

"It has been a crazy ride. We have met some amazing people and want to thank everyone for their custom and support.

"Big love to the staff, many have become surrogate family.

"If anyone has a loyalty card we will honour these this week regardless of how many stamps you have on them."

It added: ’This weekend there may not be the usual selection of goodies on offer as we try to run our stock down.

"It’s time to take a step back, focus on family and begin new adventures.

"Thank you for making The Foxy Bean the buzzing little hub it became."

Meanwhile, the owners are selling off their catering equipment. Anyone interested can attend The Foxy Bean on Tuesday next week (December 5) between 6pm and 8pm.
