ALL traffic will be prohibited from using a road in village for 24 hours a day over a 116-day period.
Somerset Council has issued an order banning vehicles from a section of Wood Street.
The closure will enable Milestone Infrastructure to carry out safety repairs as well as signing and guarding its works.
The council says the closure is expected to be in place from Tuesday next week (December 5) until March 29 next year.
The stretch of Wood Street to be closed runs from 302 metres south east of the junction with Wiveliscombe Road south eastwards for a total of 159 metres.
