THE December edition of Taunton Independent Market will see an array of local traders flock to the town centre as always - but this time, for both days of the weekend.
A plethora of stalls selling bespoke Christmas gifts, locally sourced goods, and tasty treats, will be available to browse on both Saturday December 9 and Sunday December 10 this weekend.
Michelle, the market's organiser, says 60 stalls will adorn Castle Green on Saturday, with 75 on Sunday.
Hopeful attendants are advised to browse the stalls on both days, as some different vendors will be in attendance on each one.
“It'll be well worth your while your while coming into town on both days," Michelle affirmed.
“We’re all about bringing local businesses to our town centre.”
It's set to be a weekend of proper festive fun, as live musicians will be in attendance to ramp up the Christmas spirit.
On Saturday, Somerset's Rock Choir will be singing a variety of Christmas hits, and the Queen's College Choir will fulfil the same duty on the Sunday.
Infamous trumpet player Luis Martelo will feature on both days, as well as a DJ, meaning festive favourites will not be in short supply around Taunton.
Michelle urged visitors from nearby and afar to make plans to visit Taunton town centre for this weekend's special double-header market: "Still need to do some Christmas shopping? We’ve got you covered!
"We’re back this Saturday AND Sunday for a bumper, festive edition of the Taunton Independent Market and we can’t wait to see you!!
"You’ll find our incredible stallholders on Castle Green between 10am-3pm on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December."
