A GRAND Christmas trail has been launched in Taunton.
Many artists attended the launch of the GoCreate initiative in the town centre on Friday (December 1), when Cllr Caroline Ellis cut the ribbon.
A total of 65 trees created by artists have been placed in some of the businesses around the town.
You can download a free map for the Taunton Tree Trail at GoCreate.org.uk or pick up a paper version from Rocket and Bird for a £1 donation for local homeless charities Arc and Taunton Open Door.
GoCreate's Jenny Eastwell-Keogh said: "The trails that we organise are designed to bring communities together throughout Taunton.
"Behind the scenes Christmas trees have been painted and decorated by local artists, young artists who take part in various GoCreate Taunton art groups and also local community groups.
"The trees highlight some of the small businesses that you may not have heard of alongside some of our nationals and popular independents.
"Thank you so much to everyone who has helped bring the trail together. We’re so excited to add a little bit of magic to the town this Christmas. Enjoy."
The 65 trees will be auctioned off after the trail ends and all proceeds will be donated to Arc and Open Door.
