A Taunton insurance brokers has added a new member to its ranks.
Jo Pavey Insurance Services provides support to businesses and individuals with a range of insurance services.
In June 2021, the company joined the collective of brokers under the banner of Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking.
This integration brought a wealth of professional insights to the benefit of local clients.
The firm has now recruited a new addition to the team, in the form of new Commercial Account Executive, Ian Buchanan.
Mr Buchanan has relocated from the Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking branch located in Exeter to link up with the Taunton team.
Specialising in commercial and business insurance, Mr Buchanan is the point of contact for issues pertaining to tradesman liability insurance, motor trade, manufacturing, shop, pubs and restaurants insurance.
He launched his insurance career in 2011 and since then has accumulated a profound base of knowledge and experience.
Mr Buchanan said: “I am delighted to return to working more locally to home with our Taunton team and Jo Pavey herself.
"Our focus is ensuring the best available cover is obtained in the most cost-effective way for all local businesses.
"I am passionate about securing positive outcomes for our clients and ensuring that our service is tailored to each business’ individual needs”.
In interacting with clients, he will bring a personal touch that augments the quality service provided to clients, whether old or new.
Moreover, he is keen to support the local businesses in Taunton, West Somerset and the surrounding areas.

Beyond his insurance endeavors, Ian Buchanan is an ardent sports fanatic, supporting Tottenham Hotspur, Somerset Cricket Club and Exeter Rugby Chief’s.
He is an active cricketer and has been the 1st XI Captain at Minehead Cricket Club for the last two years, recently leading his team to win the Somerset Cricket League Premier Division in September 2023.
