The Great Escaper (12A) will be screened at the Regal Theatre in Minehead on Sunday January 7 at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 for Friends of the Regal, £4.50 for Regal Film Society members and £3 for Students and can be booked in advance online and at the Regal box office on 01643 706430 between 9:30am and 12:00pm between Monday to Saturday.
The Regal bar will be open for refreshments from 2pm.
The film, starring Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson, in her final film after she passed away at the age of 87 in June, is based on a true story that made national news about pensioner Bernard Jordan who in 2014 left his care home in Hove to join fellow war veterans on a beach in Normandy to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
After the local police were notified the care home received a call that evening to say that Mr Jordan had been found safe and well in France.
