TAUNTON Careers Fair is set to make a return to the town in the new year, showcasing hundreds of jobs to those in search of a new career venture.
The fair will be held at The Castle Hotel on Thursday, February 2 2024, from 10am until 2pm.
It's hoped that the event will help locals to either spark interest in a potential new career, or help attendants to further progress in their current career.
You can book a ticket, although it is not necessary to do so, and anyone can drop in for free whilst the event is open.
It's open to job seekers of all backgrounds, levels of experience, and fields of interest - presenting an array of opportunities for everyone to find potential employers or career paths.
Some of the sectors/industries with stands at the event include finance, education, sales, marketing, motoring, human resources, IT, healthcare, tourism, real estate, biochemistry, electronics, manufacturing, hospitality, social work, events management, and retail.
To find out exactly which companies will be hiring at the event, or for more information, contact Taunton Careers fair by emailing info@ukcareersfair.com.
Vacancies being showcased range from entry-level to management positions, encompassing apprenticeships, graduate roles, franchise opportunities, and both part-time and full-time positions.
Also at the fair will be flexible and work-from-home opportunities, CV advice, career guidance, and access to national job boards.
A spokesperson for Taunton Careers Fair said: "The event is an excellent platform for exploring diverse career paths and networking opportunities."
"By participating in the Taunton Careers Fair, you will have the chance to explore a wide variety of organisations and job roles, which can save you a significant amount of time compared to submitting online applications.
"Instead, you can engage in direct conversations with employers to gain valuable insights into their company culture, benefits, and hiring requirements."
Hopeful job hunters are encouraged to bring their CV to the fair, but are reminded that maintaining a positive attitude and open-mindedness is paramount.
A spokesperson added: "Employers often prioritize these over experience, helping you make a lasting impression.
"A positive attitude keeps you motivated, focused, and makes the event more enjoyable and worthwhile."
