ALTHOUGH the whole of Somerset and North Somerset is subject of a yellow wind warning until 12 noon today (Monday, January 22), the worst seems to have passed and it's pretty calm out there at the moment.
For the rest of the day the Met Office forecast is for sun and showers, although there could be a heavy burst of rain at around 4pm.
The temperature is predicted to stabilise at just shy of 10degs C, but it is likely to feel a bit colder.
A heavy downpour of rain is on the Met Office's weather chart between 6am and 9am tomorrow (Tuesday, January 23), with lighter rain throughout the rest of the day.
Wednesday and Thursday look set to be generally cloudy but dry, while we should be in for some sunshine on Friday.
Don't get too excited yet, but the weekend looks as though it could be dry.
