South West accountancy firm Milsted Langdon has appointed Kirsty Rapo as the new assistant manager of its Yeovil office.
Joining from a larger regional company, Ms Rapo will manage all aspects of client accounts in the general practice department.
This includes compliance, tax and VAT, cloud accounting, auditing and accounts.
Beginning her career as a trainee in 2009, she gained her Association of Accounting Technicians qualification before advancing to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
She said: "I'm hugely excited to be taking this next step by joining this incredible team.
"I already feel welcomed by everyone in the office, with a diverse workload to get me off to a flying start.
"I'm looking forward to continuing to get to know clients and help achieve their goals."
Mike Bagg, tax partner at Milsted Langdon, applauded the new recruit: "Kirsty is a talented professional with plenty of drive and dedication.
"Above all, we prioritise the needs of our clients, a value which Kirsty shares and always strives to meet with her approach to client care.
"With an impressive career already at her back, she's a great addition to the team.
"I'm excited to see where her role with us will take her and how she'll continue to develop."
