A PUB rooted in local history found near Taunton is currently the cheapest pub for sale in Somerset.
The Rock Inn, in Waterrow, could be yours for the price of £425,000.
According to Christie & Co, the origins of the building date back over 460 years - starting out as a private house before becoming an inn around 1851.
The pub is set in a 'picturesque' and 'idyllic' location - a wooded valley, and opposite a bridge which sits over the River Tone.
It's surrounded by countryside and sits on the Somerset/Devon border, near to the Exmoor National Park, but just three miles from the town of Wiveliscombe.
Inside the building, the classic lounge bar is equipped with a large open fireplace, largely exposed stone walling and oak ceiling timbers, reminding all visitors of the history of the inn.
There is seating for up to 28 people in the lounge, and a further 28 in the separate dining/breakfast room.
There are also eight individually designed letting rooms over two floors with guests having their own independent outside entrance door or internally via the main bar.
In addition, the Rock Inn features a car park for up to ten vehicles, a kitchen, several store areas, and private owner's accomodation.
