UNKNOWN to many - Somerset is home to a beautiful, hidden waterfall - and it's yet to be discovered by social media fanatics.
In the past 30 days, internet searches for 'Waterfall walks near me' have increased by 250%, with many choosing to beat the January blues by getting outside and immersing themselves in nature.
Research by staycation experts Sally's Cottages looked at data from social media site TikTok to find the UK's best and most elusive hidden waterfall walks.
St Audrie's Bay, between West Quantoxhead and Doniford, near Watchet, features two waterfalls, and ranked towards the top of the list, in third place.
According to the data, only six TikTok posts feature the hidden coastal Somerset waterfall.
In fact, the only waterfalls with less TikTok coverage in the nation were Carbost Burn, Scotland (2 posts), and Rhaeadr y Parc Mawr, Wales (1 post).
Set at the foot of the Quantock Hills, the waterfalls at St Audrie's Bay flow over a beachside clifftop, making for a stunning experience all round.
The bay itself can be accessed via a path leading down from a nearby holiday park, which also provides a car park, and a shop.
The path down to the beach contains many steps, but is well maintained.
The beach features a mixture of sand, flat pebbles, rock, and shingle and is dog-friendly.
