A dance show celebrating the history and next generation of women is coming to the Tacchi Morris Arts Centre in Taunton.
The production, titled Portraits of Her, aims to honour influential women from history by telling their stories through dance.
Offering a blend of dance styles, the show spans across eras of social transformation instigated by women who dared to challenge societal norms.
Audiences will witness depictions of several iconic figures, such as Florence Nightingale, Emmeline Pankhurst, Queen Elizabeth II, and Frida Kahlo to name a few.
Portraits of Her creators hope to inspire audiences to both reflect on the accomplishments of past powerful women and consider their own role in the fight for gender equality.
The shows, scheduled for March 7 and 8 which coincide with International Women's Day, aim to turn the centre's stage into a platform of tribute and inspiration.
Tickets are available by contacting the Tacchi Morris Arts Centre or online via the centre's website.
