A NEW Pan-Asian restaurant has opened at a Somerset venue - in time to treat the kids over half term.

Chopstix is ready to welcome its first diners at its Butlin's home from today (Friday, February 9).

It is set to be a popular choice for both families and adults on Big Weekender breaks at the seaside entertainment park.

The new opening is part of a £1.2million investment that will see an improved food offering in the Boardwalk, close to the Skyline Pavilion.

Chopstix is the first new opening at Minehead in 2024.

This new food news follows the opening of Papa Johns pizza eaterie in September last year and comes a few months before the new £2.5million inclusive playground Butlin’s SKYPARK and permanent Studio 36 venue open this summer.

Open from lunchtime to late night, the new restaurant is creating 10 jobs at the Minehead resort, with the Pan-Asian offering available to holidaymakers on family breaks, day visitors and Big Weekender guests.

The Asian-inspired flavours on offer at Chopstix give guests different dining options throughout the day.

Butlin's says that with a variety of meal deals and bundles there is also great value to be had alongside great-tasting food.

With over 10 toppings to choose from, Chopstix guarantees tasty Asian flavours and variety, ensuring there is something to please everyone in the group.
