A unique theatre show which explores the experiences of hearing loss is coming to Taunton Brewhouse this month.
Shush, a bold new piece from Thimble Theatre & Tit For Tat Circus, will be staged on February 17.
Supported by Arts Council England & National Lottery funding, the production shines a light on the experiences of lead actor Ryan Murphy.
The performance combines music, circus and physical theatre to reflect Mr Murphy's journey through degenerative hearing loss.
Expect to witness the power of absurdity, comedy, and surrealism as the show masterfully tackles themes of isolation and identity.
Ryan Murphy, a Bristol-based circus theatre maker, is passionate about telling tales without barriers through visual and physical theatre.
His work celebrates the overlooked qualities of everyday objects, turning them into stars of his shows.
Another noted contributor is British-French actress, director and circus performer Maia Ayling, veteran of the physical theatre and combined arts scenes across Europe.
Her work is known for its insightful social commentary set within immersive theatrical realities.
