SOMERSET Opera have announced their latest production will hit stages across the county at eight different venues next month.
The group will deliver their production of W.S. Gilbert? - This Was your Life!, including familiar numbers from ten Gilbert & Sullivan Operas including The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, Patience, HMS Pinafore, Iolanthe and Gondoliers.
Over 25 numbers will be performed including Three Little Maids, Poor Wandering One, Cock & Bull, the Nightmare Song, A Wand’ring Minstrel I and I am the Very Model of a Major General.
Tickets for the shows start from £12 and can be purchased through the Somerset Opera website.
A spokesperson for Somerset Opera said, "We have pulled out all the stops to bring you something truly spectacular.
"The creative team and cast are hard at work to create what I'm sure will be a rollicking night at the theatre filled with sumptuous singing, slick story-telling and sensational silliness.
"So get those opera binoculars out and prepare your sides for inevitable splitting!"
