A leading law firm, which has an office in Taunton, is celebrating B Corp™ Month this March.
Stephens Scown is marking its first anniversary of the certification by setting goals following the five key areas of governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.
Verity Slater, board partner, said: "Achieving our B Corp™ accreditation was no easy task and took a tremendous effort, but has really helped to embed across the firm the importance of ensuring that all our practices are in line with B Corp™ principles going forward.
"Setting this year’s goals has been a great way to continue to drive towards further positive impact and has set us in a strong direction for this year’s priorities."
The law firm has also presented solid strategies to reach its ambitions, which include the enhancement of its governance, increasing staff satisfaction, making a significant social contribution, reducing environmental footprint, and focusing on client satisfaction.
Meanwhile, its aim to be carbon-neutral by 2025 showcases their unwavering dedication to environmental preservation.
As part of its B Corp™ journey, the firm is firmly placed to expand its social and environmental goals through the B Corp™ Champions initiative.
