AN iconic children's author and poet will celebrate 50 years of performing live this year with a visit to Somerset.
Michael Rosen, one of the world's best selling children's writers, will perform live at the Cheese and Grain in Frome on Thursday, July 25.
The events at 10.30am and 1.30pm will include a Q&A with the author, plus book signing.
To commemorate 50 years of live performances, and 50 years since the publication of Rosen's first children's anthology 'Mind Your Own Business', local organisers have teamed up with Frome illustrator/artist, Cole Henley to produce a 50th anniversary poster.
Cole Henley was the leading artist in his joint collaboration with Michael Rosen’s, ‘You’re Thinking About Tomatoes’.
Michael Rosen previously appeared at The Cheese and Grain in 2023, and was a huge hit - selling out two back-to-back shows.
Tickets for Michael’s upcoming shows in Frome are available from just £10 (plus booking fee) and on General Sale this from 6pm on Sunday, March 10.
