DRUGS have been seized from a caravan in a Somerset town following a raid by the local police force.
Mendip Neighbourhood Policing Team revealed that, along with specialist officers, they carried out a search warrant on a caravan on Monday, March 11.
A 'quantity of drugs' were found and seized from the caravan in the Beckery Road area of Glastonbury.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Members of the Glastonbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, along with specialist officers from OP Remedy have obtained and carried out a search warrant on a caravan in the area of Beckery Road, Glastonbury.
"As a result, a quantity of drugs have been seized from the location.
"We appreciate the support of the community whilst the investigation continues.
"Suspicious activity can be reported direct to local officers, via the 101/999 services, online or anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
"We will listen to you and act on your information."
