Parking at Castle Cary station will be affected ahead of the Easter period to allow Great Western Railway improvement works.
The parking reduction, taking place between March 22 and April 8, facilitates the completion of projects, including the development of a new car park off Station Road.
Additional parking spaces in the main station car park will also be needed ahead of rail improvement works taking place on March 31 and April 7.
During this time, train services between Westbury, Castle Cary, and Taunton will be affected.
Jordan Welsby, GWR station manager for Westbury, Wiltshire and Dorset, said: "These works will allow our customers to access the entrance to the new car park from Station Road, plus complete any final snagging works needed at Castle Cary.
"We also need to provide rail replacement services as well as accommodation for train crew in the main station car park for Easter Sunday and the following Sunday.
"Together, this means that parking will be reduced at Castle Cary during this period and unfortunately, there is no alternative parking nearby.
"We are really sorry for this temporary inconvenience, but the result will be improved car parking at the station, plus maintaining our train services for customers."
