A TOTAL of 40 drivers have been caught speeding this morning (March 14) at a Somerset location with a “history of serious collisions”.
The drivers were detected speeding, with one travelling at 67mph, at Whiteball, where the limit is 50mph.

The limit was reduced to 50mph by Somerset Council after a “history of serious road traffic collisions,” Avon and Somerset Police said.
A spokesperson for the force said: “At Whiteball in Somerset this morning.
“A history of serious RTCs at this location led to Somerset Council reducing the limit to 50mph."
