POLICE have said a driver left the scene of a three-vehicle collision in Taunton early this morning (Monday, March 18).
The crash took place at around 1.20am on Priorswood Road and police were called by the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said officers “were told that one of the drivers, described as a slim man aged in his 20s with black hair and black clothing, had left the scene”.
The spokesperson also added that “no one was reported to have suffered significant injuries”.
The spokesperson also said: “We were called by the ambulance service shortly after 1.20am this morning to reports of a three-vehicle collision on Priorswood Road in Taunton.
“Officers attended and were told that one of the drivers, described as a slim man aged in his 20s with black hair and black clothing, had left the scene.
“No one was reported to have suffered significant injuries and the road was reopened at 5am.
“If you have any information or footage which could help our investigation, please call 101 and quote reference AS-20240318-0045.”
