Pets give us love and cuddles after a hard day at work and make sure that they remain loyal no matter what happens.

That’s why we’d love to see you submit your pet pictures for a chance to win this year’s Pet Idol competition – and to feature in our eight-page supplement.

The title of Pet Idol comes with some top prizes as well. There is a £100 voucher to be spent at Monkton Elm Pet Centre for the winner and two £50 vouchers for the runners up!

Closing date for pictures to be submitted is Friday, April 12, 9am with the supplement featuring pictures of your pet to be featured in the Somerset County Gazette on April 18.

Each submitted picture that goes in the supplement will need to have the animals name under the picture to enable readers to vote for their favourite pet.
