A LANGPORT pop-up shop which celebrates independent businesses is here to stay.
The South West Makers have extended their lease on the Old Registry Office building. The shop is located near the main carpark on Bow Street and right opposite the Little Bakery.
The store is made up of 15 makers who design and make all of their own products.
Visitors to the shop can expect to find enamel jewellery by iamrachelshop, woodcut flowers by NattyDeco, mugs and signs by CircusSigns, cushions and keyrings by RaggyRoux, and much more.
Rachel Smith, from iamrachelshop, helped bring the South West Makers together.
She said: “We have had such a lovely welcome from the people in Langport.
"Everyone is so supportive of independent shops and we’ve had a lot of people say how nice it is to see a gift shop back in place of ‘Eustace and Arthur’ who gave up their lease in 2023.”
The store is currently open Wednesday to Saturday 10am till 3pm.
