A PUB near Burnham-on-Sea has once again been named Somerset's Pub of the Year'.
The Crossways Inn, in West Huntspill, has taken home the CAMRA (The Campaign for Real Ale) award six times in recent years, winning in 2013, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 as well as 2024.
The inn is highly commended for its range of real ales, as well as its range of food, and general service.
After winning the award for the first time in 2013, Steve Dean, owner of the Crossways Inn, told the Weekly News: “We're very proud to have won the award and we are now hoping that we do well in the regional stage of the competition.
“We took over the pub a few years ago and we came in at the deep end.
“I'd never even tried real ale before, and we had to learn the trade very quickly.
“But we're very lucky in that we've inherited a great pub in the heart of the community, with a great group of locals and staff.”
