A unique Easter egg hunt is set to take place inside a real-life Somerset prison.
Shepton Mallet Prison is welcoming families to The Great Eggscape from March 29 to April 14.
Young visitors under 16 are encouraged to tackle an Easter Egg Hunt.
Equipped with A5 activity sheets, they will uncover giant eggs hidden throughout the prison.
Each egg will reveal a vital letter to solve a secret code, leading to a chocolate prize at the visitor centre.
From March 29 to April 1, the Easter Bunny will be in attendance, distributing chocolate gifts and taking photos with children.
An escape room activity provides an extra challenge for families, containing more chocolate egg surprises.
Families can upgrade tickets to an annual pass for £5 during the event, giving 12 months unlimited access to the prison and exclusive offers.
Visitors will also have opportunities to hear captivating tales associated with the prison, including stories about the the White Lady and the Night Watchman.
Shepton Mallet Prison's unique Easter event combines fun, history and mystery.
