The first Saturday edition of the Taunton Independent Market takes place this weekend.
It will be held at Castle Green in Taunton on March 30.
This month sees the introduction of an Arts Market, in collaboration with Jenny Eastwell-Keogh and GoCreate Taunton.
The markets aim to inject regular colour and life into Taunton's town centre.
Visitors can anticipate a calm shopping environment brimming with a variety of unique items, local arts, and crafts.
Those with a gastronomic interest also have the option to indulge in or takeaway a selection of regionally-produced food.
The market organisers are calling all small business owners and artists based in the South West who wish to join the Somerset Markets community.
There are still a few slots left for interested parties.
An impressive roster of stallholders is already confirmed, including Parkway Brewing, Somerset Wildlife Trust, Mainline Spirits, and Sian's Sweet Treats.
There is truly something for everyone; from bakeries, breweries, artists and wellness businesses all showcasing their goods.
The list of food vendors is as exciting, with the likes of Dough Bros, Farmhouse Pies and Pasties, Thai Kitchen, Ellises Farm and John the Greek.
Handmade goods enthusiasts will have many options, such as, Beth French Pottery, Happyness Creates and Moonlight Lane Woodenia.
Those interested in skincare will find Tropic Skincare.
Entertainment will be provided by Kindred Rivers and The Roller DisGoat.
On a completely different note, Wellington Film Festival is planning to dispatch three Storm Troopers to keep things interesting.
This eclectic mix of food, arts, and entertainment vendors promises a lively atmosphere, making the market a must-attend event.
