ARTWORK rumoured to be painted by the world's most renowned graffiti artist has appeared overnight on a bus shelter in Brean today (Wednesday, April 3).
The painting, rumoured to be the work of Banksy, can be seen opposite the Seagull Inn, on South Road, and depicts the Disney-Pixar character Wall-E in detail using black and white paint.
Holiday makers at the nearby Northam Farm Holiday Park were among the first to notice the new artwork.
Banksy has made headlines recently following a new, striking mural behind a tree in North London, which appeared on the side of a residential building in Hornsey Road, Finsbury Park, on Monday, March 18.
The artwork features swathes of bright green paint sprayed on to the building behind a cut-back tree, creating the impression of being its foliage, with a stencil of a person holding a pressure hose.
Banksy soon claimed the mural as his own in an Instagram post after it drew crowds and attracted speculation.
The artist is yet to confirm whether the Wall-E mural in Berrow is his own work or otherwise.
