A ROAD rage driver was caught on dashcam footage as he jumped from his vehicle to confront another motorist.
The angry man has been fined and given nine points after being driving erratically and attempting to stop his car and confront another driver in Yate, near Bristol.
He speeds along the road, weaving left to right, before stopping at the side of the road - exiting his car and gesturing furiously at the driver behind him.
Avon and Somerset Roads Policing Unit said: "Last week, a man was convicted of careless driving at Bath Magistrates’ Court.
"His behaviour resulted in a £440 fine and nine points on his licence. Thanks to dashcam footage submitted by a member of the public we were able to achieve a positive outcome."
The arrest comes as part of Operation Snap, a drive across England and Wales to make it easier for drivers to submit dashcam footage to police.
