AN area of agricultural land featuring a barn in a beautiful area of Somerset's countryside has gone up for sale.
The 3.64 acre parcel of land also featuring a traditional stone wall surrounding the barn on a small hill can be found in the village of Draycott, near Cheddar.
Aside from the mound on which the barn is built, the land is level, and accessed via Draycott Moor Drove.
The land will be auctioned off on Thursday, May 16, with a guide price of £150,000.
David Plaister Ltd Auctions are marketing the land and barn as the site of a potential new holiday let unit.
In fact, planning permission has already approved to allow for the existing building to be extended and converted to a two bedroom holiday let unit.
A spokesperson for David Plaister Ltd said: "The land presents an excellent opportunity to purchase your own piece of Somerset.
"The idyllic village of Draycott is excellently positioned at the foot of the Mendip Hills (AONB) nestled amongst the beautiful countryside."
