Weymouth Road in Somerset is set to close to facilitate essential roadworks.
All traffic will be prohibited on Weymouth Road, stretching 49 metres from the junction with High Street to the junction with Weymouth Road to High Street.
This was revealed in a public notice published on the Public Notice Portal on April 18.
Its aim is to allow Wales and West Utilities to lay new gas service.
The closure will last four days, starting on May 7 and ending on May 10 between midnight and 11.59pm.
The alternative route during the closure period can be found at https://one.network/?tm=137307988.
For those looking ahead and wish to view closures more than two weeks in advance, registration with One.Network is necessary.
Inquiries about the works being carried out can be made to Wales and West Utilities on 0292 010 2441 with reference number ttro733266E.
This road closure order is owing to works being executed on or near the road and in consideration of public safety.
