A THEATRE will soon host a gala screening of a new Somerset-based film, with members of the cast and crew set to attend.
Swede Caroline, a 'mockumentary' about giant vegetable growing, based in Shepton Mallet, will be screen at Strode Theatre on Sunday, April 28.
Members of the film's star-studded cast - which includes Jo Hartley (After Life), Aisling Bea (This Way Up), Fay Ripley (Cold Feet), and Steve Brody (The Office) - will be in attendance, along with other local VIP and film industry guests.

The evening will be followed by a reception and include a post-screening Q&A with the co-Executive-Producers, Jack and Boris Thompson-Roylance from Glastonbury, together with Co-Director/Producer Finn Bruce, Co-Director/Writer Brook Driver; and cast, including Jo Hartley.
This event comes as part of Strode Theatre’s programme of activities to celebrate its sixtieth anniversary year.
The gala event is open to public and tickets can be purchased at the theatre; and goes on sale as part of a newly released programme of films.
