The Montacute village, celebrated for its historic Montacute House, will open over 20 of its gardens to visitors on June 22 and 23.
The effort aims to raise funds for causes, within the village with a population of over 800 village residents.
Visitors can expect a range of garden types from community allotments to traditional cottage gardens, many of them being open to the public for the first time.
Jan Lomas, chair of the Montacute Gardening Club and organiser of the event, said: "There’s such an amazing variety of gardens in our village, most of them tucked away behind houses and not visible from the road.
"It’s wonderful so many residents have come together to share the joy of gardening and help raise funds for village causes."
The day's itinerary also includes refreshments at the village hall, a ploughman’s lunch on offer at the two village pubs, displays at the Baptist Chapel and St Catherine’s Church by All Saints Primary school, and plant sales by CB Plants.
Accessibility for most gardens, welcoming of children, signed parking, and tickets sold outside St Catherine’s Church will facilitate the event, starting at 11am.
