A food and drink festival with live entertainment will take place in Taunton on Somerset Day, Saturday, May 11.
The festival, ‘eat:Taunton’, will feature 100 producers, including sellers of street food, setting up stalls from Church Square, down Hammet Street and all the way up East Street.
Bev Milner Simonds from the organisers eat:Festivals said: “The food and drink festival on Saturday 11 May is also Somerset's BIG picnic to celebrate Somerset Day. This year we have added more entertainment into the grounds around the Minster and are encouraging everyone to use this as a mass picnic area.
“Entertainment includes circus skills and hula hoop classes, drumming beats workshop with recycled instruments, buskers and strolling entertainers - all provided free of charge."
Local campaigners Taunton Area Cycling Campaign and Somerset Bus Partnership will also be at the event.
Bev added that eat:Festivals are grateful to Greenslade Taylor Hunt and A&D 4x4 for their continued support.
