A FOOD festival is set to take place in Taunton this weekend, and several roads will be closed as a result.
On Saturday, May 11, several road closures will be in place from 7am until 7pm.
Dedicated blue badge parking will be on Magdalene Street, and access to rear of premises on East Street and Fore Street will be maintained via Magdalene Street.
Organisers from eat:Festival say they close roads from 7am to allow for stallholders to set up safely, and aim to open the roads within three hours of the festival's finish at 4pm.
A spokesperson said: "We aim to reopen the roads as quickly as we can but allow ourselves three hours to deal with the unexpected like breakdowns and spillages.
"We only close a road to make the festival safer, more welcoming and more accessible."
