ALL bus services are running as normal after an “unauthorised encampment” at a ‘park and ride’ site in Taunton.

Somerset Council said they are dealing with the encampment at Silk Mills Park and Ride’ and are “taking the appropriate steps”.

A spokesperson said bus services are running as normal and “there have been no reported incidents”.

The spokesperson also said: “We are aware there is an unauthorised encampment on the Silk Mills Park and Ride site and we are taking the appropriate steps.

“All bus services are running as normal and there have been no reported incidents.

“Our welfare and enforcement teams have visited the site and a legal process is underway.”
