A BUSY A-Road was closed for almost three hours this morning (Wednesday, May 15), as two vehicles collided.
The A361 Frome Road was closed in both directions from around 7:15am in the village of Rode, after a collision occurred and blocked the B3109 Bradford Road near its junction with the A-Road.
Traffic queued from Rode Hill to Church Lane as a result of the crash, whilst police and ambulance services both attended.
Both vehicles involved were recovered and the road re-opened just before 9:50am, and one person was sent to a minor injuries unit.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "A two-vehicle collision blocked the B3109 Bradford Road, near its junction with the A361 at Rode this morning, Wednesday, May 15.
"Emergency services were alerted at 7:15am and police and ambulance crews attended.
"One person went to the minor injuries unit.
"The road reopened just before 9:50am after the vehicles were recovered."
