THE Mayor of Taunton has attended a memorial service to commemorate all those who served in the Falklands War.
The service took place on Tuesday, May 21, at Maidenbrook Country Park and Cllr Garside placed a wreath on behalf of the residents of Taunton.
A spokesperson for Taunton Town Council said: “The Mayor of Taunton, Councillor Vanessa Garside, attended a memorial service this morning at The Somerset Wood, Maidenbrook Country Park in commemoration of those who served in the Falklands War.
“The Mayor placed a wreath on behalf of the people of Taunton.”
