PLAY equipment in a park in Taunton has been damaged and its fencing pulled down and burned after refurbishment works.
Taunton Town Council said it was “frustrating” to find fencing pulled down and burned and the paintwork damaged at Victoria Park.
A spokesperson said works were carried out yesterday (Tuesday, May 21) and the damage was found today (Wednesday, May 22) as the town warden returned to the park.
A frustrating day for our Town Warden. After working on the play equipment at Victoria Park yesterday he returned today to find the fencing pulled down and burned, the spikes missing and paintwork damaged. Time and money spent re-doing this work means less for other improvements pic.twitter.com/ZPUVTBpU1T
