A spokesperson said: “Our team needs to carry out urgent patching repairs to Priory Bridge Road in Taunton next week.
“We’ll be using new, innovative equipment which means we only need to partially close the road for a couple of hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, 28-30 May, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
“Please note, on Tuesday and Wednesday there will be no access to the town beyond Morrisons heading west from the Wicks roundabout direction but you will be able to reach the Wicks roundabout travelling east.
“On Thursday, this changes to no access turning into Priory Bridge Road from Station Road, but access available coming from the Wicks Roundabout direction. Diversions and signage will be in place.”
