A ROAD in Baltonsborough is set to close this May bank holiday in order to undergo essential roadworks.
Martin Street will be out of bounds for all traffic from the intersection with Lubborn Lane, heading northwest, for a span of 127 metres.
This was revealed in a public notice posted on the Public Notice Portal on May 23.
According to Somerset Council, the closure comes as part of efforts to facilitate the execution of infrastructure, excavation, duct laying, and fibre works by Gigaclear.
Roadworks are due to start on May 27 and run through to May 31, with daily operations spanning from 12am to 11.59pm.
For inquiries regarding the work being done, the public may reach out to OCU Group at 0845 303 8615 quoting the reference number ttro811925E.
