A GRAND Community litter pick is taking place in Taunton this weekend.
The group of litter-picking volunteers will be meeting at the Halcon Baptist Church at 10am on Saturday, June 1 to do their bit for the town.
Anyone is invited to join the event, which is being hosted by Asda, Halcon Baptist Church, the street pastors, Minerva schoolchildren and the community.
The litter pickers will scour the Halcon area, tackling litter around the supermarket, church, and school.
Keep Britain Tidy advises litter pickers: “Always wear heavy-duty gloves and use a litter picker if possible”.
